What the numbers mean
- Weight. Every roof has a dynamic load limit, in the handbook. A tent that is 24 kg lighter leaves 24 kg more for bars, bikes and boxes.
- Thickness. A closed tent 12.3 cm thick adds little height and wind drag. The Classic closes to 35 cm.
- Price. The Mini is £600 less, or £760 less for the first ten tents, before you add roof bars if your car needs them.
Where the TentBox is the better choice
- TentBox is an established brand with UK dealers and showrooms, so you can see one open before you buy. We are new: the first Bryntent tents reach UK owners next spring, and you reserve with a refundable £99 deposit.
- If you want a tent in hand this week, buy one that is in stock. Ours arrive in batches.
- The Classic is a larger tent. If you want its extra room, compare our Mid or Max on the size page.
