Looks, thickness, wind
Many box-style roof tents close 25 to 35 cm tall. This one closes at 13 cm. That is the whole idea.
A matte black aluminium shell with clean lines. Closed, it reads as part of the car, not a bag bolted on top.
Just 13 cm closed, so it sits low on the roof bars and keeps the car's own shape.
A low box catches less air than a tall one, so there is less drag and less noise on the motorway. TODO no fuel figure yet: ask the maker for test data before any mpg claim.
The 25 and 35 cm figures are other makers' published closed heights. TODO check each on the maker's own site, write the date here, and decide whether to name them. UK law lets us compare only on accurate, checkable facts.

Loved in China
Our maker is a Shenzhen outdoor-equipment company with a 19-year-old Taobao shop. Its owners film their own set-ups on everything from a Suzuki Jimny to a Range Rover and share them on Xiaohongshu (RED), China's big lifestyle app.

Closed, the tent sits about 13 cm high, so it sits close to the roof and keeps wind noise and fuel use down.
A hard aluminium shell and frame, not a canvas bag. It packs away in the same box every time.

How it works
Release the side catches on the shell. It stays attached to your roof bars the whole time.
Lift the lid and let the tent open out. Set the ladder against the platform.
Mattress and sleeping area are already inside. You can leave light bedding in when it is closed TODO confirm.
In use
Our own tent, on our own Land Rover Defender. TODO owner confirms his own tent is the T1; maker's T2 photos and video may be used (owner, 30 Oct) but never with T2 fabric claims.

Every car has a dynamic roof load limit (the weight allowed while driving). It is in your handbook. The tent and the bars it sits on both count.

Card payments are taken on a page run by Stripe, a large payment company. Your card number goes to Stripe and never touches this website or our email. You get a receipt by email straight away.
It needs roof bars or a rack that can carry the tent weight plus the bars, within your car's dynamic load limit. Use the checker above, or send us your model.
Collection from Cardiff, or courier delivery in the UK on request. Boxed, a tent weighs about 66 to 74 kg, so you will need a second person to lift it. TODO collection and delivery prices
